A great read by Terence W. Campbell, Ph.D. who sheds light on the illusion that psychotherapy is beneficial.
I'm at the library at the moment, reading this book, and understanding a bit better why clients of psychotherapy are biased to believe that therapy works for them, while all evidence plainly shows that it doesn't.
It seems that when clients give their therapy sessions a high rating, it could be that they're not rating their therapy, but instead their therapists.
I have a lot to say on the matter, as I've had my share of problems with my wife's therapists.
