I want to blog like a maniac. Pumping out posts. Rather than Click the 'save and close' button, and then create a new item, I instead want the 'save document and create a new one' button.
Yeah man, sometimes I get so much on my mind that I need a workflow that keeps up with my thoughts. I don't want to have to think about my CMS while I'm creating content.
Props to the 'Save document and create a new one button'. It looks like this:
And that button is cool as hell because immediatey when you're done making a blog or news entry, you can automatically save it, close it, and create a new one - all in one click.
Here's the typoscript I added to my User settings (can also be added to group settings) to add the 'save and create new' button to pretty much every form in the backend of typo3:
*Add the 'Save and Create New Item' button to all forms in the back end*
options.saveDocNew = 1
That's basically it. I found it in a 
TYPO3 newsgroup posting that also offers some other options to this trick.
